Hi everyone
I have a Doblo 1.6 diesel 2013 and recently a warning light has appeared on the dash which is for the stop/start system. The s/s doesn't function now which in itself doesn't bother me too much, but the damn light and fear of further issues ahead do!
So, I have had a new battery fitted and also looked under the bonnet (don't know why, hoping to see obvious loose wire etc) but all looked ok. Then I looked under the footwell at the pedals but nothing unusual, removed the gear gator and surround to see if anything was loose/ disconnected but again all looked good. When I had the gator off I had a quick fiddle with the two metal rods attached (I presume they monitor gear position) the damn light went off! Yeah! So got in, drove a mile or so all good. Then as soon as I slowed.....bing on it came again.:bang:
So does anyone know anything that may help....please! My finances are such that i'm desperately trying to avoid Fiat main dealer!

Get it scanned for any stored fault codes. Then clear them..and use to see shat happens..what codes reappear. Where are you based..?
