Hi Guys, I have a Fiat Siena 1.2 EL 2001 sedan. Second owner and shared my life with her for the past 10 years. Head has been worked on twice due to blown head gasket. The second time was a few weeks ago. After getting the car back, I noticed that the Fuel Gauge jumps up and down.:bang: It will eventually stop at the actual reading after a few minutes of driving. a Friend suggested that I reset my ECU, not sure how that could help. Any suggestions?

Thanx guys. Will post in the Palio section. Much appreciated. Now to find the earth mounting.

Thank you PPU! Would an auto electrician be able to do the fault finding(check if all the earth connections are correctly secured) or who do I take the car too?

Auto electrician.. but worth checking the basics yourself..
Thanx alot varesecrazy. Just left the house now...noticed there is water inside my left rear door!!! What is happening! On to the next...

You may find too much water has endered the electrics..causing your issues.

Drain door. And let parts dry.

Thanx a lot varescrazy! Drained the door with the guidance of Peter Pick-Up! The needle is not jumping at all. Take it I will have to remove the inside cover to properly dry the inside. Thanx again guys. Now back to the idling and revs going up as soon as I touch my brake pedal...Where do I post that?

Hi guys! no its stuck on Full. I know it should not be there, but its no longer jumping but fixed on full! what to do?

IDEA:lift up the back seat. And unplug the wiring to the pump/ level sensor.

See if the gauge returns to ZERO

THEN reinstall wiring connection..see what happens.

There are GUIDES for the fuel pump in PUNTO section.
