First of all, yes, I did mean discs! I've got some new discs to go on my 500, the standard ones are painted in the centre and I'd like the new ones to be too. What kind of paint do you think I need, would calliper paint be best or would engine enamel be okay, it's supposed to withstand up to 300C, I don't know how hot the centres of the discs will get.
 
Just use any paint on the hubs. Either a regular aerosol or brushed on with hammerite. I've never had any problems using non vht paint on calipers and hubs, even on high performance cars. Just don't paint the face that touches the inside of the alloy where the bolts are. That will cause you issues.
