New member here. Yes I know this is sort of model specific but I thought they keys aren't really so...

We have just bought an '04 Panda Eleganza with the non-remote key.

Does this key have a 'chip' / RFID tag burried within it or is cutting a new one just a physical process?

How much are Fiat going to sting me for this?

When the hour is a bit more reasonable I'll put up an intro post.

Yes it has a chip and yes, Fiat will take you round the back and pull down your trousers. go to a key bar such as Timpsons ETC, they can clone the chip in your key to a new one far cheaper.

YES it's a coded / chipped key,
do you have the CODE for the key..?? FIAT charge @15 / £30 for it if you haven't,

a switched on locksmith should be able to provide a key and align it to the car for @£80,
