Hi all,

Picked up my new Panda TA Easy today, The head unit is MP3 CD compatible, WTF is that lol

I've been searching around to see if I can put the lead into the back of the head unit, but getting really confused with all the info!

If I can play these MP3 CD's, can I connect the yellow jack plug to the rear which allows me to connect my player into the system?

Cheers

Darren

Yes you can..............simples.
Or..........Get your self box of tricks around £45 then you can also plug a sd card into it or memory stick or use the jack input for a mp3 player phone/iphone.
Search for YATOUR which is a interface that simulates a cd changer and the head unit thinks there is one connected.
You can use all the controls on your head unit and steering wheel as normal, and its all plug and play and simple to install.

Montypaks.........well done they are the dogs.
Don't use a sd card with more than 4 gig of music on it as there will be a delay in the load up time.
I use 2 gig cards or sticks in mine in mp3 format thats still a lot of music tracks.

Still should be compatible with yours as the the head unit is the same as the 2012.
I would think that at the time of the tech spech of the yatour site 2012 WAS the latest version.
Just email them, but i'm sure it will work ok

Ok will do... should have a 2GB sd card lying about somewhere. Should be picking it up today after work from the post office... just in time for my 300mile trip tomorrow.

I'll mostly use it for the AUX though as I've already got all my songs on a USB plugged into B&M. This will be a good way to listen to podcasts from my phone :)

Had a reply from them, I had a giggle as their English isn't the best, but I worked out that their system wont fit.

The Radio CD MP3 in mine was made in July 2013 and a continental, two wide 5 pin plugs, one taken up with the connections. The spare way is a wide 5 pin.

In the Manual, which might as well be in Italian lol, Mentions many types of fittings, Blue&Me, etc, but all "Where fitted" it seems that if we had had steering wheel controls, the head unit may have been different. But there is a spare way in the back of the radio, just above the radio wires, its the same size as the connections, I took a photo of it as well as the wiring diagram on the radion body. But can't find how to attach it to this site?
