My 2006 panda has only covered 47k. I am the second owner for just over 2 months now.

Last week it had a thorough health check by fiat, who discovered it needed the front shock absorber re-fitting, alternator belt to be replaced and handbrake cable replacement as well as rear brake cylinders replacement which were leaking...
Brakes were also serviced.
Had all the work done for £328 inc parts and labor which i thought was quite good considering it was Fiat.

Friday, I was driving slowly and turning to the right, and on the drivers side, there was a metal clanging and clicking noise which was only audible at low speeds <15 mph after driving the car for a few miles.

My question is what is it?
Brakes maybe?
Noise is not there when the car is turned left or driving at speed.
I checked the CV joint boot and its not split/leaking

Everything on the drivers side mechanically feels and looks secure when using my hands.

Im thinking if anything was serious, Fiat would have picked it up a week ago during the thorough health check. Could someone give me some advice to what it is, and cost?

Thank you all.

Sometimes small stones get thrown up and lodge themselves between the brake disc, caliper/support, or backing plate. If this even coincides with more recent "works" then one can easily be confused, question the "works", etc. etc.

When this happens every maximum dread, emotion, etc. can easily set in.

Suggest you jack up, remove the wheel and very carefully inspect the whole brake caliper, disc and backing plate assemblies. And don't forget to rotate the hub looking, listening and feeling for problems.
