Not so much a help thread as a Jeesus that was too close

That was near it's change interval but not quite there, if you hear any strange noises from the engine get it checked out(y)
 
Or replace before manufacturer recommends, after all, you pay the bill if it breaks not Fiat!
 
It's my dad's car so I only get my hands on it when theres a problem that needs my attention, like this 'slow rubbing noise at tickover'.

I changed the belt, idler and tensioner when he got it 4 years ago at 95K, its now done 170K! I was expecting nearer 140K.

Nice bike Ffoxy, I've got a K6 SV650S :)
 
Loved the SV 1000, buckets of torque for a bike & a lot more rider friendly than the previous TL / TS range. It had to go when I bought the Grande Punto unfortunately.
