Hi... i don't know a lot about gears and stuff but I was wondering how easy/hard, expensive and general possibility there is of fitting a gear system to a T-Jet 150 Sport Bravo like there is on this Clio V6 in this video.

It's the style that you pull it back to go up gears and push it forward to drop down. I think its called a "Dogbox" ?

Need to know everything I would need to do, as I'm not even sure if its at all possible.

A dog 'box can be in a normal 'H' pattern too- the term 'dog' refers to the gear engagement (no synchro's) and they normally have straight-cut teeth which creates the associated noise.

Normal vs Dog-

Prices? The shaft alone costs more than a genuine Fiat complete gearbox in this case (Misti Evo). ;)

You can get a sequential shift without having to completely convert the gearbox. Ikeya do a shifter that converts the standard 'H' pattern into a push forward/pull back for down/upshifts, however- it's model specific-

(Lazy shifts, BTW)-

This is NOT something you can do cheaply. ;)

Thanks for the info, D4nny8oy.

So do you think it would be an utter waste of time and money in general?

I mean, roughly how much do you think it would cost?

It seems a waste of money unless your car is very modified and already a very fast car. I would expect that because the work would be custom due to lack of demand for your gearbox type, it would cost around the market value of a tidy 07 Bravo 150 Sport.
