Leaving the car for a while...

Right, I'm leaving the country on April 18th, and sadly, the Stilo must stay parked up outside work until I get back 6 weeks later at the end of May. So my question is as follows:

What action do I need to take before I leave, and what do I need to do to the car when I leave it? I've only ever left a car for this long (well, 3 months while on tour in Cyprus) with my Punto...obviously it's much simpler with a hamster powered 1.1 8v 55s!

Cool Re: Leaving the car for a while...

Would be a very good idea if some one would give it a good run weekly cos if your battery goes flat then it will look as if ET has landed when you turn on the ignition for the first time on your return

Re: Leaving the car for a while...

I was thinking about disconnecting the battery (as I did with the Punto), so if there's anything taking a slow drain (which I wouldn't notice as I use the car daily) then it's not gonna kill the battery while I'm gone.

Re: Leaving the car for a while...

I would laugh..because that is quite funny, but at the same time it's got me quite worried now!
