Fitting parking sensors to Stilo MW

Hi all,
the amount of info on this forum is amazing. However I have searched high and low and cannot find quite the information I need.
I have 2004 Stilo MW.
I have bought a parking sensor kit from Ebay which seems to work OK (tested with 12V).
I have no problem with the electrics I have found the revere light wire and can connect to this.
The problem I have is mounting the sensors I have looked at the bumper and towards the top there is not enough room between the plastic of the bumper and the metal of the car to fit the sensors in. I have thought that mounting them in the plastic bit at the bottom of the boot door might work but I cannot figure out how to get that off, is this possible?
Thanks in advance.

Si

The MW fits them straight into the bumper, underneath the tailgate ledge.

Re: Fitting parking sensors to Stilo MW

Does anyone have a picture or a link to a picture of the back of a MW with the sensors fitted? I cannot find one.
Thanks for all your help so far.

Re: Fitting parking sensors to Stilo MW

Thanks you are star!
I am going to be fitting a bluetooth handsfree kit to my standard Visteon Stilo Radio/CD player when it arrives, I will keep you all informed how I get on and post some pic's to try and help anyone who plans to the same. I will also look at connecting a MP3 player to the CD changer input at the same time and let you all know how that goes i.e tricking the radio in to thinking there is a CD changer fitted.

Si.
