Back of engine right side.

I have had mine disconnected now for 3 months.
It doesn't affect the running of the vehicle in any way shape or form and does not affect the MOT.
If it's connected and inoperative engine won't work, unplug it and your away.
Cheaper and quicker than replacing it.
