(G) Sim Card Pin....

Hello guys and girls.

Ive put my sim card into the reader, but it says it needs a pin.... What pin?? Where would i be able to find out what the actual pin is? Reading the manual it doesnt say, but does say 3 wrong entries and it would lock my sim card.... sod that! Any ideas?

Is this a new SIM card then? What Provider is it with? A PAYG card?

6 months old, T - mobile and pay monthly. Just been looking thru my gf's T-mobile bits and actually seen her pin number, so when i get home, ill check my bits.

t mob is supposed to be 1234 from google.
of course if you set your own pin then you may need it reset via T mobile

Turns out u actually get sent the pin with ya sim card. Its printed on the letter u get with the welcome pack and that. So entered it and away i went. It turned out to be 1210 btw.... the default for T mobile, just incase anyone else has this problem

Do you just out your own sim card in the reader then?

Or is this something you need to sign up for?

As this old thread is in the Stilo forum, I assume the OP is refering to the Stilo Connect Nav+ unit that has a phone requiring a SIM card built into it.
