The "P" button is the parking lights (they don't turn off by themselves ;) ).

If you need light to find your way to the front door, all you need to do is pull on the light stalk (like when you want to flash someone when driving) which activates the Follow Me Home function. Each pull leaves the front lights on for 30 sec. (for a maximum of 5 min).

Thankyou for all the replys i do Know about the storage under the seat I also found today that if you hold down the unlock button on the fob the windows come down

Only found the "secret" glovebox because we could hear the cd changer working but didnt know where the changer was!!

Kids love the door into the boot via the arm rest ;)

And the drinks holder that pulls out the front of it

I found that if you tug hard enough in search of the under-seat drawer, the trim pops off :)

I think the Abarth 3-dr doesn't have drawers under the seats...

The feature I'm having the most fun with is the voice recognition. It's obviously very clever to be able to understand things without training - BUT you DO need to know what to say! I should read that downloaded PDF for the Connect Nav+... I never get around to this so end up shouting all sorts of commands to no effect ;)

e.g. I can say "Dial"
("the number, please")
"0212356215"
"boop" "Zero Two One Two Three Five Six Two One Five"
<Yessss... it worked!>
"boop"
"Dial"
"Sorry"
"Enter"
<rustle> "Sorry"
"Send"
oh sod it I'll push the button again -
"Interruption"

i did the seat trim trick 2 whilst looking for these so called drawers, thought it was a bit of a small and useless drawer this bit of plastic, anyone mentioned the hook that doesnt hang anything cause its in an odd place or if ur lucky a plug socket in the boot?

oh no not them hooks the one in the boot but no doubt if got the not very interesting boot that has a hook where as urs will have the more interesting plug socket, and more useful.

then there is that hole just to the left of the steering wheel, that can store nothing other than fresh air (the higher spec stilos have something in the hole)

how can i forget the rubber bits in the centre console that keep the pound coins for the tolls...

then.... finally, there is the ability to store a pen in the glove box

I had my old 1.6 dynamic for almost 2 years before I found that the button on the right stick changed the trip computer readings :bang:

I like the trip B feature.

I also have the 'shopping bag hook' in the boot. It's under the left rear shelf support. I test-drove a different 3-dr Abarth of the previous year to mine, and it had a 12V power socket there. I wonder if the wires are nearby, it would be a convenient source for a (low-power) subwoofer amp. Maybe the socket was only fitted to the versions with the tyre sealant/compressor instead of a spare wheel?

Here's a feature for Arbarths with flappy paddles (and obligatory cruise control)...after cruising at , say 70 (with cruise control ), on a dual carriageway, encounter a roundabout change down to 2nd, start accelerating hard out of the RB keep in auto mode and immediately hit resume on the cruise then take feet off and watch it continue to accelerate and also change gear by itself quickly back up to 70 again......obviously won't work (properly) with non selespeed versions!!! mind you sometimes this seems to overstretch the computers brain as the cruise then sometimes stops working (but works again once you have stopped and restarted at the end of your journey)

The option to have the navigation directions on the panel between the speedo and rev counter works well (and you can switch the bright main navigation screen off by pressing and holding down the top left button - system still works.

Have some fun with the voice activated navigation system........pre-set up for your likely destination for voice control and then give a friend a lift and they sometimes think that the navigation system has recognised your destination simply by you aksing for it.....little do they know you had already set it up!

Great fun....

Arbarth

Is this limited to the coloured panels which were on the slightly older Stilo models? Or do these navigation directions also appear on the standard LCD panel too? I've not been able to find any option to display nav directions on the main dial dash!

One for the obscure features...if you unlock on the key remote and don't open a door within a few seconds, it relocks again. This can be very puzzling until you discover it in the manual...

But - no oil level sensor. Or is there?
