Hello everybody!
Who can explain me this intermittent problem with my 1.6 Activa 10/2001???

From time to time, when I turn the key in ignition in first position, the BULB banner came on with the message BRAKE FUSE BULB FAILURE, but I am sure all fuses and bulbs are OK.
When I start the engine, the BULB banner disappears, but the yellow ENGINE banner came on with the message ENGINE FAULT. But the engine goes well and everything is functional.
After 3-rd or 4-th restart the ENGINE FAULT disappears and everything is OK.

Do not tell me GO TO THE DEALER, or on examiner. The dealer knows absolutely nothing :bang: and the examiner shows the same - nothing.

How are you starting your car do you insert the key and turn it straight away or do you let the car do its checks I found the same happened if you didnt let it do its checks you get many ghost warnings coming up which are NOT logged .

The BULB message comes on before any attepmt to start the engine. It comes on before end of checking!

I often start the engine without waiting for the end of cheking and everything run well then.
This fault does not matter on waiting or non-waiting for finishing of checking
