Gutted!!!! Poorly stilo

Took a shopping trip today and just about to get to my destination when my 1.6 dynamic 3dr stilo became ill!!!!!!
decided to splutter and drive crappy (loosing power) and sound a bit like an old petrol lawn mower - then the engine fault alert came on, 'alarms and spanners' so I pulled over!!!!!!
Rang AA who towed it to Fiat dealer luckily only 3 miles away, who wont be able to look at it till monday!!!!!!
Gutted watching my beloved car go up on the AA truck ramps!!!!!

Anyone experienced similar problems or can anyone tell me what this might be, and will it be covered by my warranty????????
Can anyone set my mind at rest - as im abit worried!!!!!

Fiat Stilo 3dr 1.6 Dynamic, Sassi grey with 17's

Not just the Stilo owners are worried. My Brava has the same engine. Best of luck with it.

True enough, but it's basically the same, and of course the lack of modern electronics means there's less to go wrong.

don't worry about the warranty I can't see a situation where they don't cover you unless it's somehting like you drove it with the engine oil too low. You done the right thing by pulling over and stoppinh though.

Could be somthing like a coil pack has gone.

1.6 Dynmamic 5 door.
