Styling stilo badge/lettering

Ah i see, thought the car had been involved in an accident or something, still have issues with colour coded bumpers not being the right colour, but have seen on other threads that this is due to rubbish primer used by fiat on black bumpers :(

Well rest assured its quite normal for Stilo's to only have one wing badge, was the first thing i did when i bought the car, because at the time i thought someone had nicked it and i wasnt gonna pay out to put another on the other side so it matched........so they went, along with all the rear badges and eventually the front badge aswell

Well now that i've seen the other pics on here, im tempted to move the other badges too. Dont want to hijack the thread, but do you have something that looks like a sensor symbol ((o)) underneath your handbrake? tried lookin in the manual but cant find anything about it?- just a query really

You mean on the actual plastic?

What's all this great urge to remove badges all about then

I can understand removing the rear FIAT badge as it starts to look quite tatty after three years or so but there's just NO WAY I'm removing my "Dynamic", "Stilo" or "JTD" badges as I think they look great!

You guys thinking then, that without any Fiat badge, your motors might be mistaken for new model of Ferrari or something are you :p

Yeah Matt, the symbol is embossed into the plastic under the handbrake - no idea what its for - any ideas or should i post a new thread? btw good luck with the MOT tomorro :D

think that symbol is for the round thing that you put there to start the car (very technical wording:p) then you press the Start button, kind of like the cards you get in lagunas, but UK models didn't have that.

I thought it was the symbol that matches the warning light on the dash when the handbrake is left on.

Its to place the keyless entry pad (SID or CID) something like that incase the battery goes down in it or something

Mentions it in the HUGE manual

Symbol looks like this ((.)) (Well simlair)

Indeed, it is the CID (Customer Identification Device) location point in case of poor communication (Stilos with Easy Go would have an antenna under the plastic).

Wicked car SusieJay (i.e. same as me :D), welcome to the Broom Closet!!

Very nice Santa, I presume you're responsible for the red J ?

Mind you, your sig always annoys me - keeps reminding me that I haven’t got a 6 speed box :D
