We've just bought a 52 Stilo Dynamique. It only came with one key though, and it looks like it's £100+ to get one through FIAT.

The dealer we got the car from suggested that Audi keys are compatible with the Stilo - they just need the cutting and programming.

Has anyone any experience with this?

Also, someone is selling the programming instructions on the web for £1.50. Is this possible or just cheap scam...

Thanks,
James

Dealer only I'm afraid James - the keys are ordered pre-cut by chassis number, and are then programmed to the immobiliser (and remote locking if you get one) of your Stilo using the dealer diagnostic equipment; the Audi uses completely different immobiliser systems!

If you want a cheaper alternative, ask for one without remote control; think it saves the odd few £.

Hi James,
How many owners has it had? It may be worth contacting the previous owner. Mine only came with 1 key and I followed this route, sending a SAE and lo and behold a week later jiffy was returned with key and a note of mileage etc. to make sure dealer hadn't fiddled anything. It wasn't really worthwhile as it had only done 12k anyway, but it goes to show there are genuine people out there. It's a bit more risky if you buy the car locally though.
