Hey guys, not sure but i think my catalytic converter is fupped.

Any idea who is best on east coast IRELAND to get it checked out with? kwik fit or advanced pitstop maybe? im north dublin so drogheda is an option too...

Any idea how much these units cost in ireland?

Ive attached an image of what I saw when i looked under the passenger side front wheel arch. This is the first cylinder type thing the pipes coming from the engine go in to, which is why i assumed its a cat, should i be able to see the mesh???

when i push accelerator, the pipes start to come out of the front of the meshy bit where the hole is.

:(

Thats not your cat its the flexy joint the cat is directly under the manifold :D

ok... so is the flexi joint replaceable or is ist a whole exhaust system required?

Morpheus, just replied to your PM!

Thanks BBS, but ive decided to trump up and pay for the unit, from the steal... er dealer, no less, nice bloke dropped the VAT charges and even showed us how to fit it. bit unusual for my local fiat blokes to do!

Anyway I will let you know how the fitting goes! Next up im hoping to attempt spraying my rub strips, stilo red!!
