Hi folks..

I'm going mad ... i was sure i'd already asked this question :life: anyway here goes......

Anyone out there managed to replace the righthand hinge of the upper glovebox and if so would you care to share whats involved, the local steelership want £120 to replace it.. they reckon 2 hours cos the dash has to come out ???? i cant believe that, they said the parts about £5 the rest is labour..
I've not had a look yet, thought i'd consult with those in the know (thats you lot) first..

i believe its posible to replace without dash out. i think all you have to do is take the upper glove box linner out and you can get to the back of the brackets

It is indeed possible to fix without removing the dash, I had it done on my last Stilo and the dash certainly wasn't removed.

This has been covered in another thread and yes it is do-able without taking the dash out Bloody robbers (n)

Thanks guys

I'll get the part ordered from the steelership unless anyone knows anywhere else i can get one from ???
