(G) CD Changer

I got the standard (I think) Blaupunt 5CD changer in the box above the glovebox. The top CD drawer works, but if I try to put CDs in any of the bottom 4 they dont go in all the way they get so the CD just gets flush with the outside casing wheras the top one goes all the way in out of sight.

Any ideas?

mine does something very similar , if a cd wont play when one ends and another should start it pauses so i turn off the engine wait until the changer goes off about 30 secs then turn back on and ya can hear the changer kind of re setting its self , i sounds a pain and is but does make it work again , so try doin that and ya might get ya cds in

hey kurt, nice colour not too sure the cd changer supposed to do that tbh, is it in warranty? sure there are other owners on here that have it and can tell you if theirs do the same!

stilosporting yeah its still under warranty, I will get it checked out. I didnt even reaslise it had a changer when I bought it, I found that hidden top glove box and it was in there

My top disc is fully in and the others are visible, but I thought that was normal because that's the disc thats playing?

so you think when the next one plays it goes in and the origional one pops out?

Yep thats correct,only the CD that is playing is not left 'flush'.

kurt, you tried playing the cd's while in the other slots?

You're right Dan yeah just got mine working too Only the CD playing goes out of view

I haven't got the sound system manual so I assumed I pressed Source to switch through each CD

It took me a while to figure out how to change the cd's as well, i was pressing the number, like number 4 to play the 4th disc then i realised the cd+ and cd- on numbers 1 and 2

shame they only play regular cd's though, only the main unit plays mp3's and i leave the nav cd in that one.
