Does anybody know of recalls concerning the handles and mechanisms for the Stilo? Or any other recalls, I went onto www.via.gov.uk and it only list 2 recalls one for the Stilo 1.8 2.4 & JTD and one for Stilos with side window airbags.

Just checked the AA website which is normally pretty good for this and they have nothing listed. I guess our little niggles just aren't bad enough for a recall!

My 2002 1.6 Dynamic was recalled for the door mechanisms sorting out. I had to take it back twice however as the first garage I took it to didn't do it properly and the doors wouldn't close in cold weather. I got it sorted at another garage and ended up having one of the door handles replaced aswell as it wouldn't go back in fully. I've also had it recalled for an engine ECU update and the window airbags sorted, plus further trips to fit a new door LED, a new passenger seat sensor, a new fuel filler flap etc etc etc

Not quite sure how I came across the site (may have been here) but this site http://www.honestjohn.co.uk lists major recalls.

Honest John is a good site. Not very well publicised though. Highly recommended for most motoring advice and queries!

thanks guys for the replies, honest john is a good website, it doesn't list any recalls for the door mechanisms or handles, but I'll check with my dealer anyway.
