Rear Boot Ledge! ???????

Hello

Has anyone seen a rear boot ledge sill protector, do FIAT do one, as it keeps getting scratched when you put things in and out? (3 door)

Cheers

I have to say that I never really used my boot but I even I could see that the ledge would be prone to damage. Can't see anything in Brio book though.

Maybe, you should have got a silver Stilo - They don't show up little scratches so much!! :p

Now back to the rear boot ledge, had anyone seen a protector or got any ideas on how to protect it from scratches, seems like another FIAT design flaw.

Cheers.

I haven't seen anything specifically for the job, but you can buy stick on transparent plastic to protect bodywork...

Hi Lead

Where do you buy that from, I've not seen it, and can you cut it to size?

Cheers.

I have come across a few websites advertising the film, but can't remember their addressess. Here's one I found using a search engine:

Hi twincamms

Halfords do a kit of protective tape (Folia Tec brand I think) and its around £25. For an employee of this marvellous company, I should know more about it. It also depends on what store you go to - the ones with a Ripspeed department will have it, others won't. We don't have any halfords stores in Gotham City either, what a bummer :D.

Seriously though, it's good stuff - i'm going to get some to go on the sill under the rear door, as it has caught several stones (it bends out and flying stones love to hit it).
