TYRES (noise)

Pirelli tyres 16in alloys, still a fair bit of noise at speed.
is there a recomended tyre to cut down speed noise, or is it part and parcel?????

Re: TYRES (noise)

16's on a stilo will be as quiet as they come as far as profile goes.

I have 18's on my car and my current tyres are far quieter than the goodyear eagle F1's that were on my 17's, feels like I am driving on a rubber road

I have toyo proxes TS-1's on at the moment and I could not recommend them highly enough for both grip and road noise, I thought my last tyres were good but these are exactly what I will buy next time round. Not cheap but very good.

Re: TYRES (noise)

I also have Toyo Proxes on my 18"s and the tyre noise from them is not noticeable at all. Awesome grip in both wet and dry only problem is that i seem to be going through them to quick
