| M.Y. is simply Model Year. Manufacturers genrally have 2-4 model years per year. These normally run about 6 months ahead of the real year (eg 2004MY normally would come out at the end of 2003). The change in MY tends to be when the manufacturer changes something on the car (engine, trim, facelift, etc) and usually changes the price.
