My Stilo Abarth is just coming up for 30k

Fiat say the cambelt should be changed @ 70k

Pug Forum said change @ 40k for my 306GTI-6

Is 70k too late - Any comments out there?

70k for the cambelt change sounds right. The cambelts of the Stilo and Pug are completely different.

The manual says check condition at 36k. 70k/5 years is what the manual says. The advise would be talk to your dealer if in doubt. There haven't been any stories on here about early cambelt failure but you never know.

In the manual for the facelifted Stilo (from 2004) it's says 80.000 km or 3 years.
And that's for all engines.

But ask your dealer.

My faclifted Stilo March'04 handbook says 5 years or 60k whichever comes first.
