Stilo Parking Sensors

The parking sensors along with the rear wash wipe on my Stilo (Selespeed) Abarth have stopped working, and my local dealer has told me that both items are not covered by the third year warranty; as both items are standard fit on the Abarth I expected them to be covered, does anyone now if my dealer is correct or are they just trying it on?

have a look in the warranty booklet which lists the inclusions/exclusions, if you haven't got it I'll pull it out the car and take a look for you. Off the top of my head I would expect them to be included. Ring Fiat direct if you have any issues with the dealer or need clarification on this matter, I believe the number if 0845 6066619.

I would 'assume' they are covered but if it's found to be a wiring fault you will have to pay.

Rear wash wipe will definately be covered if its a pump or motor problem or switch, if wiring sorry then not warranty.
Reversing sensors may be excluded, but its definately worth giving Fiat or Mastercare a ring to clarify the point.

Thanks for that, I asked for the number to speak to Mastercare and the dealer said they were not allowed to give it out?

I'll ring some other dealers and see what they say; why do Fiat let these people run the dealerships and give them such a bad reputation???
