Front of the Skyroof, or front of the car is missing?

If the latter, then it depends on how much of the wiring is still there. The roof gets 3 power supplies from the dashboard fuse box, and 2 signals from the Body Computer. If the fuse box and BC are still there and wired, you could power the fuse box with a battery.

Was the roof Austin09 offered you no good?
.

Thanks for your very quick reply sorry for poor description front of the car is missing. I am going back there this afternoon the car should be on the ground so Ill get a good look at it and I will try what you said if the fuse box and BC are still there.

I dont understand what you said " Was the roof Austin09 offered you no good"?

Ive just read through it my memory isnt what it used to be. At that time I didnt need a new roof it all worked, well just about all, there was a couple of sticking points when I put it back together which I couldnt put right without taking it all out again then I bought another car a Mercedes so the Stilo was sort of deserted then I decided to put it back on the road and sort the sunroof out and keep it to use mainly to take my dog to the coast cos he loved to sit with his nose sticking out of the roof.
