Dudes,

How can I adjust the headlights to point the other way, so that I can drive "sur le continent" nest week?

Or do I just have to stick some tabs of duct tape onto the lenses?


I've had a look behind my lights and they don't appear to have any adjusters or anything. 1.9 JTD 115bhp.

Not sure if the headlights are the same as mine but on my 1.2 Stilo there seems to be some horizontal adjustment on the bolt that holds the headlight at the front, just above and to one side as you view from the front with the bonnet open.

Gaffer tape is en vogue this summer .
When you return you can remove the tape safe in the knowledge you haven't messed up head lamp alignment for good old blighty.

Agreed or them yellowy orange patches im afraid.

Invest in gaffer tape for that" devil may care " look
Also take the roll with you as it could well come in very handy.

I used tape the first time I drove to Greece. It made the plastic headlamp covers craze behind the tape. Had to fit new headlamps. The next year I went, I used EuroLites. No crazing.

This time I went commando..

I was only on the road during daylight, so I didn't bother with anything. On the other hand, in the occasional tunnel, my lights did seem brighter than usual (must have been Guilt)..
