It does look good, I have a set of these ready to go on the car 1.9 jtd Stilo 192, but I have swapped them for 30mm all round as I will need more ground clearance due to the speed bumps around here. Have you had it 4 wheels alignment as well? If not do so very quickly or it will eat tyres like mad. A Hunter system alignment is about £80 ish on will totally change the handling of the car.

Where abouts are you in yorkshire, can you post up a pic of your motor, im in the same boat... i have to crawl over speed humps or go at then in an angle if im doing 20ish...

I have a multijet 150 stilo sporting, suspension seems much softer than my 1.2 stilo i had, i think the stilo suspension is same on most models hence mine feeling softer with a big heavy 1.9 jtd 16v engine compared to my wheeny 1.2 i had before.

I also read that the 30mm kit lowers it a bit but also stiffens it up and wont cause my bumper or under trays to ground out.

Really want to sort it out.

I am in sunny Huddersfield, and I have used these springs before so I knew what to expect. I have fitted Super Sport Sports shockers too which are ace. I got them from Amazon for £87 delivered for a full set. Have a look for Springs etc on Amazon, bargains to be had.

Excellent. Im in dark n gloomy bradford lol bowt 15 mile from you.

Im defo going to get the suspension sorted out.

Would be good to get some decent bushes but they dont make them for the stilo, unless anyone else can confirm, from memory people have bought slightly larger powerflex bushes and cut them down... dont really fancy that - cant be a good thing to do for there integrity unless anyone else can say otherwise...

Would be nice to meet up and see your stilo :)

Yeah it would be great to have a Yorkshire Meet? Not sure about the last time the forum has one? I had powerflex ones in the last car and I didn't really notice much difference really. Anyway I will see what works like and sort out the meeting.

Gents, the 4 cylinder diesels and 5 cylinder petrols had different front spring rates to the 4 cylinder petrols, on account of the additional nose weight.

So Dan, if you were lowering you'd need to find springs suitable for the 1.9 jtd(/m) to avoid any performance or quality issues.

Some cheaper lowering spring manufacturers or less well informed retailers will try and tell you they've got one spring that fits all - I'd avoid those.

Thanks for the advice.

I quite like the ride height, not too high and not too low its just the shocks are crap :( - to be honest, could do with getting it checked over as its nearly 11yr old and the springs and shocks look virtually new all round (they still have three different coloured dots on the bottons of the springs)

Could be its just been looked after but would have thought the little dots would have worn off by now.

Yea that would be good!

Would be good to see more yorkshire members on here.

To count i have seen three facelift grilled stilo's in bradford, a black one 56 plate sporting (looks like its been stood though) and another blue dynamic like my sporting then mine.

Also got a 5 door that visits my street often and he's sprayed his wheels black, also a yellow sporting 6 speed that parks at the BRI and sometimes a black one parks there (he used to park in my old work) hes got an exhaust and some blades (i think)

Would be cool to get them on here, im going to order some fiatforum stickers next month :).

If anyone does see me give us a toot or wave :)

See I wouldn't want my front to ride any lower than it already does. The engine tray if off at the moment as it is because it used to drag over bumps. Need to see if I can attach it in a manner that pulls it up a bit tighter but a lot of the bolts are snapped and need drilling out :-(

If you have a look at the attached I wouldnt want the front lower but the rears are way jacked up, looks a bit daft. I don't really want to lower just the rear though, as that might upset the handling and balance of the thing.

This is mine on SuperSport's Shockers and 30mm Eibachs all round. The ride is very OEM just lower. Speed bumps are ok if taken at a slower speed, but I am used to this as having lowered car's before.
