Just bought a used Fiat Stilo only to have the engine failure light come on and start to lose power. Turns out it's a spark plug that's misfiring. On one of them, the sensor connector (what the wires go into) is snapped off and someone has put on wire clips to keep the wires in place that go into the coil ignition. I cannot find a new sensor connector anywhere. Any ideas?

Hi,
Unfortunatly it's a bit hard to tell what is going on from your description. There is not a "sparkplug sensor" that I know of. Photographs of the offending parts would be helpful.

i think he may have a 1.2 and the connector he is on about is the little plug that connects to to the top of each coil pack - this has to be removed when removing the coil's one by one.

If that's snapped you would have to buy the coil pack wiring harness, probably not cheap... you could solder a new wire to the connector or snip out that section of the harness from a motor in a breakers yard and solder into your harness, probably the cheapest method.
