Hi

After some help please.all the electrics in drivers front door have stopped working(CDL/mirrors/windows ETC)

Have checked fuse 47 and 48 and all is ok.Have also removed plug from door to A pillar and all is fine no corrosion/bent pins ETC.....

Any ideas guys do these vehicles have a door module, and if so would this effect all door functions?

Have not removed the door card yet(there is not something daft I have done with the mode switch to effect operation?

This happened once before(only had couple of months)but resolved it's self after a couple of days so thought nothing of it other than Italian electrics.

Pretty competent with a wiring diagram/multimeter but where do I start.....any know issues?

Thanks in advance:)

Hi, Welcome to the FF.

There's a door control module behind the door card. If you're sure the door connector plug and socket are clean, dry and secure, check the module connections.

Try this: lock the car using the key remote then press and hold the remote unlock button for more than two seconds.
If you have good diagnostics then you should be able to operate the door electronics via your diagnostic computer.

OK tried that but didn't work, have now found you can open windows though by holding the open button open:)

Is there not a setting I have adjusted in the setting as it's new to me and have been playing with the buttons!

If not is the next step door card removal and investigate door module?

There's nothing in the "My Car" setting on the MODE button that would prevent all electrical functions in the door from working.

Check the wiring inside the rubber gaiter between the dirt and puller. Wires could be broken.
Have you checked all fuses.?
Try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes.
You really need to check the operation with a diagnostic computer.

Thanks now sorted.......
I checked all fuses, cleaned all maxi fuses next to battery, removed fuse box near battery and cleaned both multiplugs under there(although all looked sound)
Upon reconnecting battery all work suspect battery reset sorted it(can bus system got confused)?

All working now Thanks:)
