Hi guys, I'm new in this forum and hope to get the proper answer from the experienced guys here.

I bought an Fiat Stilo Abarth v2.4 a month ago after one week I got one problem, when I start the car and I start moving in the 1st speed, the car starts moving by cutting the speed and shaking until it reaches som km of driving, after that when I stop and come back on car it starts fine but this happens everytime when car is turned off for a while such as overnight ?

Any suggestions from you, I'm assuming on car plugs by the way but I didn't inspect them yet, waiting for your suggestions.

The problem is only there when the engine is cold?

Maigretnz yes just before the first ride when I go to work it shakes and I have to put more gas to stabilize it Yellow Perill , it is selespeed.

In my experience of dealing with older cars that suggests a fuel issue rather than electrical. Electrical problems tend to get worse as the car warms up.

If you intend to service it yourself you will need cable and multiecuscan software. Cheap.

Hmm ok I'l giv it a try but first I need to purchase the cable on ebay and I have to install multi ecu scan, honestly I was afraid if the gearbox was fault but I don't think so it might be smth with air filter or plugs, thanx anyway !

Maigretnz can you please inform me what type of cable should I buy, because there are too many cables and I'm confuse which one should I purchase ?

Hi I had a problem with mine where it would jump out of gear turned out the metal braided cable was split this is the one u der the air pipe on the right of the head

"metal braided cable" - (presumably an earth cable)

Sorry not cable braided pipe it goes from the right of the block under the air pipe and goes to the back under abs pump I'll take a pic tomorrow and post it

Sorry didn't get that pic for you I solved my problem turned out to be the accumulator hook up to MES and if you get pump driver relay failure that was the indication for the accumulator not working as pump had to work over time

Infinite I had another problem in this thread but before three months I had the problem with the accumulator as you had, but I realized that problem so fast because here in my neighborhood lives the most known guy for fixing transmissions so without even checking with pc he realized where the problem was, so I bought it for around 30 Euros and he replaces it for me since that time it's working gr8 hope you fixed yours also.
