Hi did fuse module in engine bay are the same for all stilos? I know about fuse and relay layout. But inside should be same i thinking.. Mine was full of water have cleaned but still have short cut. What cleaner to use to protect from water and short cut?

Wd40 electronic cleaner. But what about some silicone spray to protect from water and short cut? Its gonna woek? Thanks

DO NOT use silicone grease or spray anywhere near switches or relays. If there is any arcing at the contacts (usually is in normal operation) it forms a hard insulating layer (form of glass) that stops the contact working. It also tends to "creep" so even if you put it directly onto the contacts it may get there eventually.

Best protection for the engine compartment fuse box is to ensure you have the large black plastic battery and fuse box cover fitted. A box shaped moulding inside the cover completely surrounds and covers the fuse box.

Gonna use
Holts electrical contact cleaner
Thanks for advice.

Have cleaned everything. Looks good. Started fine. After minute engine cut down, radiator fan starts spin. Lights on dash light up. Switch of key. Start again no problem. Maybe some relays? Gonna see what's gonna happen this morning.

I use a plastic bag over the top of the fuse box, tucked into the edges so it stays on. The original Fiat one goes missing. I've never seen a Stilo with one still fitted.

There is also a bigger plastic cover that goes over the fuse box AND the battery. Again.. mechanics throw them away but if you look on fleabay you will find one eventually.

But.. those still let water in from below.. so make sure your wheel arch liner is not missing or cracked and that the lower cover is also in place.

I stuck some aluminium mesh over the slots in the wheel arch liner. It stops water coming straight up into the electrics. And stay out of puddles.. :D
