I was really torn. But I've just spent a lot on my 1.6 Stilo for servicing parts and repairs.

Looking at how often I get to drive, the increased running costs of the 2.4, insurance, tax etc..my heart wants to say yes but I know on a practical level I must say no.

It's a thing of awesomeness though.

Really it's the extra tax and insurance that put me off. I'm already being quoted 600 quid for my 1.6 and the Abarth is faster but not to a point I could justify the ridiculous insurance.

If the situation had been slightly different.. If it had come up two or 3 weeks earlier and I'd not dropped so much on my current one, it was a little cheaper.. I may have thrown caution to the wind.
