So after 5 years, the caliper and the parking brake, is stuck, are stuck do anyone have a quick solution to get the parking brake loosen, beating on it doesn't help. :) Even the lever is stuck inside the car and with excessive force it can be pulled up to first lock point.

No hammering or force at the caliper have done anything.

So what can be done to loosen the caliper, and parking brake..

Thinking of:

1: Cutting the handbrake cable at the caliper end?

2: Cutting the whole disc in two pieces (don't like that solution)

Any and all thoughts will be helpful, last piece i need to get sorted and my 5 Years standing still Abarth is like new and running.

Hi, :)
maybe remove the wheel,
loosen the bleed nipple on the caliper - and squeeze the caliper and pads - with a large G clamp

then - once the piston has retracted..you can tap / hammer the shoes out.. they will be "frozen / welded " to the discs surface.. with more space you can peel the individual components apart.

Ohh got a g clamp, didn't know what it where before google where nie to show me a picture. Will have to give that a try, but unluckily i only got one large with a round wooden turn piece, but guessing i can get some torque on that to.. Will have to give this a go.

Cool, don't forget to readjust when you get the brakes sorted & keep us all posted how the work goes!

Will do, just waiting for my new car jack to arrive, might have broken the old one by temporary abarth insanity.

Long story short, G clamp didn't do the trick with open bleeder..

Problem got solved removed disc with caliper on and trashed em, now all new parts, and one problem less.

Awww you beat me to it. I was going to say you've no hope as they're wind back calipers and seize up if you so much as look at them funny. I was going to suggest taking the disc off the car with the caliper attached!
