Has anyone got ai idea on replacing these with straps from another model? I'm hoping they are/were fitted to another car & can find spares there, as I'm struggling to avoid the dealer for a new set at £120+ for a pair.

Somehow I doubt it. The front doors of the Stilo 3-door are quite heavy and I imagine the check straps from any other model probably wouldn't be up to the job. Also FIAT redesigned the straps to incorporate some plastic components to prevent the metal fatigue in the earlier design.

I suppose you could try a scrapper..?

I tried a local yard & they were utter c-bombs. They had a 3 door sat in the yard but basically isn't seem to want to bother getting it out for the parts I wanted. I can see why (it's minor money for them) but it was so annoying.

I've put a quote in on that site you linked and another similar one. Fingers crossed they turn up something.

After much searching, Found a pair for £20. Noticed a 3 door in Northampton being broken and mailed them over eBay. Theu had the straps so I've just collected them whilst working a mile up the road.
