Afternoon Gents. I'm looking at these 15" wheels but not sure if they would fit my Stilo.

DOes anyone know off the top of their head if I'd I need spacers for these:

15x7
PCD: 4 x 98 mm
OFFSET ET: 37
Center Bore: ~58.1mm
7J wide
Tyres:195 / 50 / 15

The wheels are pretty spot-on.

The main things are the PCD of 4x98 and the Center Bore of 58.1mm (it means they will fit onto your hub and without spigot rings). Some Fiats (Grande Punto - shared parts with Vauxhall) have the wrong PCD (4x100) and a smaller hub (circa 56mm) so GP wheels won't fit on pure-bred Fiats.

Offset (ET) is in millimeters.. Your standard wheels might be ET40 or ET41... so 37 is just 3-4mm different. You won't notice it. The bigger the ET number, the more the wheels fit "into" the wheel arch... so you won't need spacers. ET37 is more "sticky out" than ET40, say.

The tyres are too small though. Stilo wants a 195/65x15 which has a taller side-wall and gives higher gearing. A 50-section tyre looks better but your rpm at any speed will be significantly higher. It will physically fit though.

Thanks so much, really clear explanation. Still half tempted because they are at the right price, but no hurry.

Can you post a link or at least the ebay item number? Very few aftermarket wheels come in 4x98, and I suspect that they are actually 4x100 and will be supplied with "wobble" bolts. While that's not a bad thing as PCD correction bolts are perfectly safe, it's still something worth knowing in advance, especially if you want to resell them later as 4x100 fits a much wider range of vehicles.

Sure, it's 222179864948. Adding the cost of new tyres in (and Rimblades to clean up the scuffed edges) I'm probably not going to bother with them so fill your boots!

In the listing the guy gives one list of cars that fit 98's and another list of 100's that will fit with wobble bolts.

Yes, 4x100 is more common (Vauxhall for one) but they tends to have a bigger centre bore. 58.1 mm is pretty much unique to Fiat.

If you use 4x100 wheels, check the bore and get hold of some spigot rings (essentially an insert) to close the bore up to "58.1" - though in reality the ring is 58.6 so it fits over the 58.1mm hub lip. The hub lip is what supports the wheel on the hub, not the bolts.

Why stick to 15" though? The Stilo can take 16 and 17" rims too... though tyres get a bit dear the bigger you go.
