hi i have just purchased my second stilo a 54 plate 1.4 active my previous outgoing one being a 52 plate 1.6 dynamic.
i have noticed that on my new key fob there are no buttons just a plain fob, does this mean that the 1.4 does not have remote locking or do i not have the correct key.
i was thinking that as i am scrapping my old car i could keep the old key fobs and have them programmed to my new car but would they work remotely

The 1.4 does have remote locking, however of the two sets of keys only one key has buttons. I'm assuming that the non-buttoned key is to act as an emergency/spare. It's possible that this is the key that you're using. It's also possible that the key has been put into a case which has no buttons, although I'm not sure that anyone would do that! Hope this helps! (I own the 1.4 and have two sets of keys described above)

thanks for your reply.i think you are right with what you have said it was very helpfull.i will check inside the standard key to see if there any buttons in there if not i will use one oof my other remotes and get it reprogrammed
