hi all
i am new here i would like some advice about my fiat Stilo 1,2 16V 2003 model.
i cant turn on the AC.
i have change the pcb behind the ac control panel but with no luck.
i have the car check for electrical wiring problem (both mechanics and car electrician) all point out that i have an ECU problem!

does any of you experience same issues?

thank you for your time!

I also have a problem with my climate control
1) sometimes only turns blower motor on when engine is fully warm
2) auto function does'nt now work at all
3) Air cond symbol sometimes shows on display, but air cond is not working

Need to plug in to Fiat MultiECUScan but I only have the free version which doesnt inlude the climate control system. There was a way of getting the full version free, anyone know how ? Thx David

Have you had the AC gas refrigerant in the AC pipe work tested, as if it does not have the correct pressure then it will not function, may of lost the AC gas and now not switch on or check the pressure switch connectors are clean.

mhowse I appreciate your advice, but unfortunately i had it checked three(3) times by three diferent auto-garages. All fluids OK,AC gas measured by weight OK, pressure checked OK, no leak found and pressure switch connectors are OK. Now they told me to buy new or secondhand ECU,because the hybrid ECU Bosh can't be repaired. The start-up signal 'reaches" the ECU but does't "travel" from the ECU to the AC compresor. Fuses, fusebox, wiring, controlpanel all ckecked OK.

Do not replace the ecu until you can check the ecu pin that should output the signal.
You should also be able o start the compressor by putting +12v at that pin.... if it doesn't start check wiring.
