Can someone please tell me where the Orange Airbag connectors are under the seat?

I know that they are under the seat on some rotating tray, but I have searched and searched..... but nothing.

Can someone make a picture of where to find it or give me detailed instructions of where it is?

Is it in the front, side or on the far end of the seat?

I'ts a Stilo Abarth and yes I have removed the trays :D

Thank you so much for your replies!

The tray that holds the connectors swivels out for under the front of the front seats. There's a plastic locking clip that hold it in place. Press the clip, then pull the tray out towards the front of the car.

Thank you, Davren.

I have looked everywhere. Is this tray in the floor of the car or in the bottom of the seat?

I see some plastic in the floor under the carpet. This doesn't really move.

Under the seat, there are a lot of things, but nothing seems to move aswell :-(

"under the front of the front seats." This must mean the tray is closest to the front of the seat, rather than on the rear.

The tray and connector(s) are attached under the front seats and above the carpet. However, if your car doesn't have front seat airbags, then the orange connectors will not be fitted.

If the car has front seat airbags, there should be a label marked "Airbag" sewn into the outer edge of the front seats backrests.

Davren, thanks for your answer! I failed once again.

So this is the place to look. I can't find the tray ... :-(

There is a small hump in the carpet. I doubt you mean it's there though.

I don't see the locking clip at all at the bottom of the seat. It looks it's all one piece of plastic.

I Already did, but the cables go to the side. Still can't find the tray or the release catch. :-(

Can some please point the tray out? I can pick it up from there.

I posted a picture of the tray in post 2 above.

If your car doesn't have electric seats, seat airbags, and OCS in the passenger seat, then it's unlikely that the tray would be fitted just to hold the seatbelt warning connector.

The tray can also be seen in the picture below. It's from my passenger seat so will be the driver's seat if yours is a left hand drive car. The retaining clip and swivel hinge will be symmetrically opposite for a LHD car.

It looks very different from mine. I do have the 'airbag' label sown into the seat. So there must be one. No electric seat.

I will study your picture and see if I can find the connector. Thank you for helping out!

Still can't find the connector :-(

I now doubt if there is one there. I have the "Airbag" label on the side of the seat. It's a Fiat Stilo Abarth. So it should be there....

I already found the airbag connector in de upperside of the glovebox. The rest is really hard to find.
