My Stilo remote key doesn't work. Car locks, unlocks and starts with keys, but remote fob isn't working. It's had a new battery. I offered the job out to local auto smiths and garages, but none got back to me. So I fancy having a go.

I know I need the 5 digit security number from a dealer, MutliEcuScan (full) and I don't mind the outlay. But I'm stuck on which connection interface to get. Would this one do?

Mate, check the MultiECUScan website - it has a chart with all the module it allows access to and what cable you need to access it.

sorry to hijack this post but was hoping someone could post a link to exactly the items I would need to get my remote key fob working again. I don't want to end up making the wrong purchases.

There is a routine in multiecuscan that you use to pair the fob with the car. So you need to install multiecuscan and get a cable like the one mentioned.
