HI Hope someone can advise.Just got a 03 stilo multiwagon with a slipping clutch. I fitted new clutch all working ok but when i put slave cylinder back on there seamed to be alot of resistance in the hydraulics pushing the clutch leaver. Is this normal as a little worried this is making the pedal high and new clutch wear quick. as said earlier all ok but not having the stilo before little unshore on pedal high. hope that makes sense THANKS IN ADVANCE sorry if in wrong place new to forum

Slave cylinders do go on the stilo's bit unsure of what box its more common on tho...

Is the pedal stiff or light as a feather, had a box replaced last year and new clutch kit too as release bearing was going and then the box started ticking grrr...

My clutch was very stiff and heavy (release bearing seizing, falling apart) and is now light as a feather

Also, have you fully bled the system, i have never personally worked on a hydraulic system but have read they can he a real pain in the arse to bleed and it can take time and many attempts to fully bleed the system... Just a thought

Im running a 1.2 6spd fiat box, clutch bites about 3/4 of the way out and does seem a little high but it never slips and pulls strong, it doesnt take much of a press to make it slip. Same as before tho, just a nicer feel to it now lol and no more ticking!!
