I managed to get a copy of the sat nav disc from someone on here (many thanks). Needing to travel long distance later today and I'm almost sure on my old stilo's sat nav, it also showed up on the computerised dash. For the life of me, I can't see how to do it on this car...even looked through the manual and couldn't see it. Can someone help please?
Thanks

Thanks, I've done that but when it comes to NAV info repeated on instrument panel, it's not highlighted for me to select. Is this because the disc is a copy?

No, the map disc is just mapping data, the firmware data that controls the CN+ is on the firmware update disc.

Do you know what firmware you have? When you first switch the CN+ on, there will be a number in the bottom right corner of the blue FIAT screen.

If "NAV info repeated on instrument panel" is not highlighted, it suggests a CAN communication problem between the CN+ and the instrument panel, i.e. the CN+ doesn't know you have the Abarth multicoloured display.

Not sure it's going to help with your problem anyway, unless you have a very old firmware version. Could try accessing your firmware version from the service menu.

  1. Press "SETUP".
  2. Press "CONNECT" 4 times (i.e. push either button 10, 11 or 12 of the 12 buttons along the bottom of the screen).
  3. Press "ENTER".
  4. Scroll down to the newly appeared "Service" button, then press "ENTER".
You should get 4 pages of diagnostics. On the second page you should see "SW Version" followed by something like 01N192L4009.8 The last 2 numbers are the firmware version. In this example it's 9.8
