Today I had the time to lower my Stilo.
I have to say that after the lowering I have another car!Incredible handling in corners and minimum diving at braking/accelerating.A must I think for Stilo owners!

I used:

-ΚW Shock Absorbers
-Eibach Pro kit 30mm

Hope you didn't fit the front suspension strut(s) with the 2 parts of the top bearing not aligned as in your picture. They should be aligned as on the old strut.

Wow very good eyes! But I undo the upper bolt, compress the springs and align the two parts of the top bearing in both front struts!I used the same images you posted!

By the way, what will happen if they are not proper align?

Also noticed from your photos that you're in, or not far from Drama. ;)

The top rubber part is moulded at an angle to the ring bearing that is fitted between the 2 rubber parts. The angled part matches the socket in the underside of the suspension turret under the inner wing. If it's not aligned correctly, there will be excess pressure on one side of the ring bearing, which could cause it to seize.

I can understand the need of alignent of the top angled rubber part but what is the purpose of aligment at the bottom rubber part the one which touch the spring, that is my question

The lower surface of the bottom rubber part is angled to match the top of the spring. The spring will only be seated correctly if the two rubber parts are aligned correctly with the center line of the shock absorber.

More info in this technical bulletin from Kilen.

Yes I live in Drama, you google "Choristi" or you are Greek?

Thought I recognised the name, so Googled it to find out if I'd been there. I drove through there once on the way from Constanta (RO) to Iguomenitsa to get the ferry to Kerkyra. We usually cross the BG/GR border at Svelengrad/Ormenio, then drive south and follow the main road to the ferry, but that time wanted to find a village taverna/hotel to stay at. We never found one. :(

I'm not Greek, but go to Kerkyra once or twice a year to stay with Greek friends who have a taverna on the beach there. Sometimes go to Constanta first to see girlfriend's family.

Today I decided to do a wheel alignment after the installation of springs and shocks with right camber.Right drop link was fitted incorrect so the car turning slightly left.I fixed it also. After alignment the handling improved even more!
