Has anyone had a go at replacing the bushes on a Stilo front wishbone?
Have access to 10 ton press, vices, etc, so fairly well geared up to do job.

Or is it possible to purchase new front wishbones with the 12mm diameter bush and replace it with a new 14mm bush? The prices for the 12mm equipped wishbones are less than 1/2 that of the ones with the 14mm bush and a new bush is about £15 in 14mm size? Is it just the one bush that is 14mm or is the other one (the vertical bush) and the pinch bolt of different diameters?
Thanks.

ive done the wishbones, but not the bushes and I wouldn't recommend it mate.

as far as I can remember, and excuse my lack of technical knowledge, its the bolt sizes that are different, not the bushes. Basically, you have 12mm and 14mm. Both wishbones are identical except for that bolt diameter and I doubt you can drill out a 12mm to 14mm as it will seriously weaken the wishbones.

I got the 14mm size wishbones from AtoZ motors but I was LUCKY - I ordered the 14mm, got the 12mm (its literally that ONE bolt that is the difference). Took them back, their system told them the 12mm was the correct size for my 05 plate Sporting. They ordered the correct ones and only charged me the original price for the 12mm, which was £67 the pair...!!
