I just spotted that 2015 is the year when the total number of operational (taxed) Stilos left in the UK fell below 20,000. There are about 2,000 SORNed Stilos too, although a lot of those are probably non-runners. The peak was at the end of 2007, when there were over 41,000.

So, half the UK Stilos have gone. We need to look after the ones that are left!

The DVLA model breakdown shows how poor the record keeping is though and DVLA has to get better at it.

I have an Active Air JTD... but DVLA shows "Active JTD 115", "Active Aircon", "JTD", "Active"... etc.

It looks like it depends on what the dealer who registered it wrote on the logbook rather than a selection from a cohesive list of models.

I agree entirely: the problem is with the UK's new car registration process. The dealer gets to write the model description in a box - and can write whatever they like! Someone at the DVLA then presumable tries to rationalise this, and to group similar-sounding models together - so we end up with a bit of a muddle...

No, that's not rare.

This is rare. Right now there are two of these in working order, including my one.

I'm not sure that there were ever 36 of them.
