hope you can help with this one.

I replaced my heater control bulbs a few weeks ago and the job went swimmingly. Haven't driven the car since but as its a hurricane outside I decided now is the time to make sure the car starts etc.

Car is fine, started first time but with the weather I needed to demist the screen. I turned the position selector from the left position (set when I changed the bulbs) to the windscreen - when I hit windscreen/floor it gets stiff, and I cant turn it to windscreen. Ive removed the panel again and I cant see a problem with the control side of things, but I am unsure where the brown wire selector from the controller goes to - I assume the flaps or something have become stuck from when I did the bulbs?

can anyone shed any light on this one?

after taking apart most of the dash, I fixed it by just doing a fair bit of wiggling of the cogs etc. Absolutely no idea why it wouldn't turn to windscreen, I couldn't see anything jammed or detached. I just kept fiddling the cogs and wire and the selector until click, it started working perfectly.

I do love my Stilo.
