hi folks new to this forum so forgive me if someone has asked this before, ive owned from new a 2004 stilo 1.2 5 door . its been absolutely fantastic and reliable to date . today on starting the car none of the dash instrumentation or symbols or dash lights illuminated on the inside but all ancillaries are working fine , headlights sidelights and indicators all work on outside of vehicle but nowt on inside visible, ive looked thro the manual and checked the relevant fuses it states on the fuse box in the engine compartment ,huge fuses and some small fuses as stated in manual but still no lights on dash, ant idea what I can or should do without taking it to a fiat dealer or at least an auto electrician, I can drive ir during day time but quite dangerous at night tbh help please regards paul

Paul,

Sounds very similar to the problems I recently experienced.
See my post about such.

I had the cluster repaired, but everything works OK except the speedo.

Just need to get that sorted now.

Good luck.

Ive had dash trouble before, and remember seeing a F/F member on here offering services to repair dash/speedo's, cant find it now but it shouldn't take you long with the search tool.

Hi similar problem, the instrument cluster works intermitently.
The instrument cluster illumination, will go off with ALL displays not indicating. Other days it will work with ALL indicators working. There is no individual instrument or fault indication, it is either all or nothing. The ECU is type IAW 5NF.T9 C146.
At this moment have removed this ECU from car to check pin connections, and all are fine. The next option would be to check the other end of the two connectors, to ensure good connection at the other end. I am assuming before forking out on a new cluster that perhaps someone else may be able to throw some light on this, and where the two looms go to. I would assume it is a dashboard removal to gain acces to these?
Many Thanks.
