Hi, I'm planning on buying some rims with tires for my Stilo 1.8, the sizes are 225/40/r18 coming from the default 205/55/r16.
Should I need to get the ConnectNav+ recalibrated or something along with the speedometer?
Would my suspension cope with the increase in tire height and width?
Would my car have more trouble pull up with larger tires, would the road be more bumpier since I have about 34 thresholds along my way to work?

Just calculated the height, difference would be 0.53cm (almost 1%) so not really noticeable.

1% isnt worth the hassle of recalibration. at motorway speeds ive measured speedo against GPS and its +3% out.

suspension should be able to cope with the difference, on the 17inch 'Blades' theres still a lot of room and theyre running 215 width. so i cant see 225s on 18 rims would be a problem.

if anything the ride would be slightly smoother. smaller wheels would be bumpier.
