Hi, i need to fit these 2 lock button things in the picture, even though they do not do anything, they are useful as an indicator the door is locking etc.

i can see where they fit through the metal inner door panel and into a hole on the lock - but i cannot get the green plastic end into the hole on the lock cause of lack of access.

i really dont wanna remove the metal inner panel cause damn ive tried but i think you need to remove the window and drill out pot rivets?? but if i do need to remove bugger then how?

anyone have a smart way to push the things into the hole without removing the panel? thanks

i may just dremel a larger hole in the panel....

Its not that hard to remove panel.

i managed to get my hand in to fit it just by bending the corner down!
